Overview:
Step into the heart of art and history at the Louvre Museum
Behold the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa, the world's most recognizable portrait, and marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of the Venus de Milo, a symbol of feminine beauty.Traverse the vast galleries, where thousands of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts await your discovery.Elevate your experience with pre-purchased online tickets, saving you valuable time and money.Bypass the long lines and skip directly to the museum, where you'll enter the Louvre Pyramid, a contemporary architectural marvel.
We organized a small private tour and loved every moment. I'd highly recommend booking a tour if you can as there's just too much to see otherwise. We met upstairs near the pyramid and began the tour way below ground, fascinating stuff.
Lovely we place to vist with family or couple if your in to art etc, but wear comfortable shoes alot of stairs to go up and down
Do not go in the Summer Holidays, It was too crowded, you just got herded along and tho I didn't want to see THE MONA LISA I just got shoved along with the hoard and it was difficult to get off the human train. The Garden around the Louvre are spectacular and there was space to sit and enjoy lunch. I will definately b back, just not in the summer..
