It's not necessarily cheap to get in but it's worth a visit. Also it's worth getting the audio guide which is very informative and easy to use. The highlight for most people is the Mona Lisa. There are several toilets and cafes.

You could spend a year straight here and not be able to take in all the beauty, mystery, history, detail.... of this place. Most beautiful establishment in the world. Take a journey with the audio guide and be patient with crowds.

Great day at the Louvre. Spent 6 hours walking around looking at all of the beautiful art. Watch for what day you will be attending and see what rooms will be closed that day. Set schedule on what rooms are closed. The walking tour fills up fast. So we ended up getting the audio guide.
