When in Paris you must visit the Louvre. Be prepared to stand in line and then stand in line again to get anywhere near a famous piece of art (i.e. the Mona Lisa)
The TRUE art lover (of any magnitude, style or genre) could stay here for days without getting bored. For us who need a little help, the use of the audio guide is a life saver!

The surroundings are beautiful, the collection is amazing, and the audio guide is well worth getting. Bring your own ear buds or head phones. We walked our legs off, but saw so much!
The only difficult part was finding the exit, which is back at the pyramid and through a kind of mini mall, which is unnecessary.
