The louvre is a truly incredible collection. I went during the temporary exhibit on Uzbekistan, and I highly recommend that
I am not an art person, but this he Louvre is a place to experience some amazing art and sculptures. Mona Lisa didn’t disappoint nor did the Venus de Milo. So many paintings and varied exhibits. The wait to get a closer pic of Mona was only about 15 min and worth the wait. Great place to go on a rainy day and it will always be crowded.
One of the best art museums I have been too. Of course some areas are more busy than others and one does need to exercise some patience. The Mona Lisa is still exceptional regardless of size. Some of the lesser known art works are also a must see.
