If your disabled you can skip the queue. The disabled person and their carer get in for free. When you visit the mona Lisa again show your badge and you can get up close. Some people grumbled at my poor mum and us. She looks well but don't be deceived by appearances. An English lady shouted excuse me very rudely at us and believe you me we very quickly took a photo and left as we felt very awkward. In fact we didn't quite absorb what we had just seen. So ended up queuing again in order to view it properly. They also have lifts. Great gift shop. Very pricey but they usually are. The rest of the artifacts and buildings were amazing too!! They supply a free map and free lockers which are very easy to work and I would recommend as it's very warm inside. It's cheaper to buy tickets on the day but prebooked queues move very fast! Weigh it up depending on how much time you have in Paris.
