Just amazing, very big so allow time. A paid guide is my suggestion as so big and can be confusing , So much to see. There is also so much history as well as art.
Loved the museum. There was so much to do and see. If you like Egyptian and greek history then this is the place for you. Good luck trying to get a glimpse of the Mona Lisa though, the crowds are huge
We have been to the Louvre several times over the years, and still have barely scratched the surface of their amazing collections. We found ourselves in the 18th century paintings section, which depicted a way of life very different from our own. I continue to be astounded. When we went to leave, we had a tough time finding the proper exit. But getting lost in the Louvre isn't such a bad way to spend your time.
